    Party time

Today’s hastily-banged-out blog is brought to you live from Stu and Sarah’s house. Despite my erratic sleeping pattern, I somehow contrived to arrive just a little after five, when their party was scheduled to commence. It turned out that I was the first to get here, but within a mere couple of hours two or three other people had turned up. By this point the party was in full swing.

The evening’s entertainment included a saxomastraw workshop and drinking vermouth strained through sugar, though personally I restricted myself to lime milkshake, and very nice it was too.

I had half a mind to go home tonight, rather than staying until the morning, so as to give me a full day to finish restoring my database. This is still technically possible - having only woken up at 1 pm, I’m theoretically still wide awake. But my brain is easily confused by darkness, and it’s decided that I must be tired now. I don’t fancy falling asleep at the wheel, so I shall most probably kip here.

My brain’s quite stupid like that.

Woo and Yay for Absinth! Simon, put that gnu down and get on with polishing that zeotrope full of spinach. Has anyone seen a white rabbit with a pocket watch ’round here? Apparantly he can play an Obomastraw.

Only I didn’t invent the saxomastraw.
Oh, and I would have been asleep by 8.30.
I’m going to go and read about it now in your blogs. You HAVE blogged it already, haven’t you?

They say that absinthe makes the heart grow stronger.

I thought it was “Absinthe makes the tart grow fonder”

Does it say: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /freeola/users/4/0/sr0232804/htdocs/sidebar.php on line 38
for anyone else? Is it me? Or have I caught Simon in the middle of fixing something?

You caught me in the middle of updating the sidebar. It was like that for about eight seconds. I hoped no one had noticed.
