Since the 'About Me' page seems to be an obligatory part of any personal web site, I have put together the following series of life changing episodes, amusing anecdotes, and anything I happened to think of at the time. I should say that other people may well remember events differently, particularly during the early years, of which I have only the haziest of memories. I have made no attempt to corroborate the facts as laid out here; consequently, this should be read not as an account of the facts as they took place, but rather as an account of the facts as I remember them. These may well be very different things.
